Effect of Backjabugui-Hwan on the Uterus changes of the rats exposed to cold stress

Abstract
|
|
|
This study is performed to investigate whether Backjabugui-Hwan have an effect on the endometrial change in the cold stressed rats. Rats are exposed to cold environment for 20days and administered orally with Backjabugui-Hwan. On days 5, 10, 15 and 20 after exposure to cold environment, the change endometrial GC was observed with histochemical stain and those in c-fos and c-jun observed with immunohistological stain.
The result was as follows.
The level of GC and c-fos was shown to be increased and thus normalized in the sample group compared with control group, while that of c-jun was shown to be decreased and thus normalized in the sample group compared with control group.
In conclusion, this study suggest that Backjabugui-Hwan may have a normalizing effect on the response to cold stress in endometria of rats
